Terms of Service

This page is in English. These legal terms are not translated. If you are using the app in another language, this English text is the one that applies.

LIGHT & SALT BROADCASTING (LSB) LLC · support@lsbapps.com

Effective date: October 31, 2026. Last updated: October 31, 2026.

This is general information about these services. It is not legal advice.

These Terms govern your use of the websites and web apps published by LIGHT & SALT BROADCASTING (LSB) LLC, a California limited liability company ("LSB", "we", "us"), including the catalog at lsbapps.com and the tools offered from that catalog (the "Services"). Each Service may add a notice on its own pages. If a notice conflicts with these Terms, the notice controls for that Service. By using a Service or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy anything or create an account. You are responsible for your login, passphrase, and restore codes.

2. Purchases and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars before tax. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. (cards and, when enabled on the account, wallets or USDC). We do not receive or store full card numbers. Purchases on these tools are one-time. A lifetime purchase unlocks the features described at checkout for the life of that Service. It does not renew. Refunds follow the Refund Policy at https://lsbapps.com/refunds.

3. License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services and their outputs for your own purposes. You may not resell, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or use the Services to break the law or infringe anyone's rights. You keep ownership of content you enter. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the Service.

4. Not professional advice; AI output

The Services are software tools. They do not provide legal, medical, clinical, dental, nursing, mental-health, tax, accounting, billing, financial, insurance, fitness, safety, or other professional advice, and they do not create a professional-client relationship. Some features use artificial intelligence provided by xAI. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate. You must review and verify every output. You are responsible for how you use it.

5. Health and safety; assumption of risk

Training, endurance, outdoor, paddling, and hiking tools give general estimates only. Physical activity involves risk of injury or death. Consult a physician before starting. Check official weather, tide, trail, and park information, and use your own judgment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume the risks of activities you undertake using the Services.

6. Third-party services

The Services rely on third parties, including Stripe, Vercel, Upstash, and xAI. We are not responsible for their services. Their terms apply when you use them. Names of other companies' products are trademarks of their owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LSB AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, CLAIMS, REIMBURSEMENTS, LICENSES, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) US $50. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law (for example, liability for gross negligence, fraud, or willful injury under Cal. Civ. Code §1668).

9. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify LSB against claims arising from your content, your use of outputs with your clients, patients, or customers, or your violation of these Terms or the law.

10. Dispute resolution — arbitration and class-action waiver

Please read this section carefully. Before filing a claim, email support@lsbapps.com and try to resolve it informally for 30 days. If that fails, any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules (or AAA Consumer Rules), in San Diego County, California, or by video. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court in San Diego County, California. You and LSB waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. You may opt out of this section by emailing support@lsbapps.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. If the class waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim proceeds in court, and this section is otherwise severable. Public-injunctive-relief claims may be brought in court as California law requires.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to Section 10, exclusive venue is the state and federal courts in San Diego County, California.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new date. Material changes apply only going forward. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Sections 4 through 11 survive termination.
